General Rules
  1. Eligibility: The hackathon is open to all members of the Seneca Software Developers Club. Participants can join as individuals or teams (2 - 5 members per team). 
  2. Original Work: All submissions must be the original work of the team or individual. No pre-existing projects are allowed.
  3. Code of Conduct: Participants must adhere to the hackathon’s code of conduct. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will result in disqualification.
  4. Submission Deadline: All projects must be submitted by the deadline specified on the Devpost event page. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  5. Language: All projects and documentation must be in English.
Prizes and Awards
  1. Judging: Projects will be judged based on the criteria outlined in the rubric. Judges’ decisions are final.
  2. Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three projects. Additional awards may be given for exceptional creativity, best frontend design, and best backend functionality.
Conduct
  1. Fair Play: Collaboration and knowledge sharing are encouraged, but plagiarism and copying others’ work are strictly prohibited.
  2. Respect: Treat all participants, mentors, and judges with respect. Any form of discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated.
